A New Project: Wisdom Wednesday

Ever wish you had more wisdom?  Me, too!  So, beginning this Wednesday, I hope to start an ongoing project of posting a proverb or wise saying from the Bible, along with a comparable proverb or wise saying from a different culture.  The Hebrew word for wisdom is chokmah and is related to a root meaning “skill”.  A person with wisdom has the ability to discern between good and bad, right and wrong, and can rightly apply knowledge.  In practical terms it means “skill at living life”.  So stay tuned for the first installment of Wisdom Wednesday!
